Why I choose to teach wellness....

🌟 This winter I’ve chosen to jump out of my comfort zone, reminding myself that anything that brings progress and growth, often is uncomfortable. It’s time for me to start focusing on how I feel about myself, less on how others may/may not view me.
🌟You may or may not know that this wellness field I am so passionate about was never where I thought I would be. Initially a special education teacher, turned stay at home mom to now a marathon runner, spending my days yes running, but also providing wellness through yoga, meditation and reiki…
🌟Daily I carve out time for my own meditation/yoga/wellness practices, but also provide services through both online and in person classes and sessions.

🌟Why am I so passionate about what I do? I have faced anxiety and depression throughout my life. A few years back I broke my hip, drastically changing my life for the short term. It provided me a chance to reflect and during that time I was introduced to meditation and had just finished my yoga training. When I saw how much a holistic approach to my anxiety helped me, I immediately wanted to help others. I want others to know there are tools that can be utilized to help with the daily stressors of life, and with anxiety and depression.
